The 26th edition of the FESTIVAL OF THE CHILDREN OF MOUNTAINS was held under the auspices of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018. From 22 to 29 July in Nowy Sącz polish highlanders from Białka Tatrzańska, Kąclowa, Laliki, Mystków, Siedlec, Trybsz formed comrade couples with members of groups from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Slovakia, Thailand and Ukraine. A special event was the 2nd International Conference "Children's Folklore - Tradition and Contemporariness".

We cordially invite you to Nowy Sącz, to the 2nd International Conference Children’s Folklore – Tradition and Contemporariness, which will take place 23-24 July 2018, as an event attendant on the 26th International Festival of Children’s Folk Ensembles FESTIVAL OF THE CHILDREN OF MOUNTAINS. The Polish and foreign speakers will represent such disciplines as ethnography, ethnology, folklore studies, cultural anthropology, ethnomusicology, ethnochoreology, dialectology, pedagogy and cultural studies.
