A statement on the official position of the CIOFF Council condemning the war in Ukraine.
At the meeting on 7th March 2022, the CIOFF® Council decided to accept the suspension of the activities and membership of Russia and Belarus in CIOFF®.
Additionally they decided to temporarily implement the following measures with immediate effect:

- recommends to festivals under the auspices of CIOFF® not to invite groups from Russia and/or Belarus;
- advises CIOFF® groups not to participate in any events in Russia and/or Belarus;
- excludes CIOFF® Russia and CIOFF® Belarus from being invited to any official CIOFF® Meetings;
- suspends all CIOFF® activities involving CIOFF® Russia and CIOFF® Belarus.
