‘Take the Windmill on Holiday!’ Photo Competition

How to participate?

1. Take the windmill on vacation
   
   When heading off on your summer holiday, whether to a nearby mountain, a meadow, an amusement park, or even on a trip abroad, take the FESTIVAL OF THE CHILDREN OF MOUNTAINS windmill with you.
   
   If you don’t have a festival windmill, you can download and print one of the two template versions (colour or black and white to decorate yourself), and then assemble it yourself.
   
   
2. Take a photo
   
   Take a creative photo featuring the festival windmill. You could stage a scene where it’s the main character in a holiday adventure! For example, perhaps the windmill is ‘visiting’ a famous tourist spot, ‘meeting’ local animals, or taking part in a family picnic. You can also show how you play with the windmill on the beach or in the mountains, or how the windmill spins in the breeze surrounded by beautiful nature.
   
   
3. Submit your entry
   
   Visit the Festival website and fill in the online form, attaching up to three photos. 

Important dates

• Closing date for entries: 7 September 2025.
• Announcement of results: 12 September 2025 on the Festival website.

Who can take part?

• The competition is open to families with children up to the age of 14.
• The competition is for amateurs only and is open exclusively to those who do not run a business or pursue a professional career in photography.
• Only adults may submit entries on behalf of the whole family.

Prizes

• Two MAIN PRIZES: a voucher for two people to Termy Bania in Białka Tatrzańska (valid until 21 December 2025) along with a set of festival merchandise (backpack, T-shirt, mug, mascot, key ring and magnet) and a set of gifts funded by the sponsors of the 32nd FESTIVAL OF THE CHILDREN OF MOUNTAINS (including a toy wooden fridge with wooden ice cream from Koral).
