Throughout the week, the stage performances by the ensembles from Poland and the farthest corners of the world were watched by the experts who comprise the Artistic Committee. Although no one here is competing for places, the guidance provided by these folklore researchers proves extremely valuable for the instructors in their work with children. The specialists have set out their conclusions, reflections and words of thanks to everyone involved in organising the event in the official document below.

The performances featured folk ensembles from Panama, Slovakia, Georgia, Croatia, Mexico and Poland (from the regions of the Sącz Lachs, the Żywiec Highlanders, the Podhale Highlanders, the Spiš Highlanders and the Orava Highlanders).
Taking into account the performances presented at the Festival, and their reference to the traditional cultures of the particular peoples and regions, as well as their artistic expression, the Artistic Committee has decided to highlight the most characteristic features of the programmes (the ensembles are listed in the order of their performances):
The Committee concludes that all the Polish ensembles participating in the Festival have responded to the formula and the requirements of the Festival rules and regulations concerning children's folklore. The Artistic Committee extends thanks to the instructors and leaders of the Polish ensembles for taking care of the right direction, stage production and a very good level of performance. All the presentations were based on children’s folklore and rural customs, which are the foundation of traditional culture. We are delighted to see that steps are still being taken to protect traditional children’s folklore.
The foreign ensembles presented performances in an artistically elaborated form, affording large audiences the opportunity to learn about the diverse cultures of Latin America and Europe.
The 33rd FESTIVAL OF THE CHILDREN OF MOUNTAINS has confirmed the Festival’s original principles concerned with establishing friendships through comradeship between children from different parts of the world during a week-long stay together.
We extend thanks to the ensemble leaders and programme creators for their tremendous work in preparing the presentations. We wish to offer special thanks to the local government of the Małopolska Province, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the National Institute of Rural Culture and Heritage, the municipality of Nowy Sącz, and the local governments of the Festival towns for their financial support and organisational assistance.
We extend thanks to the directors of the SOKÓŁ Małopolska Cultural Centre in Nowy Sącz: Mr Andrzej Zarych and Mr Piotr Gąsienica, as well as all the staff, for their effort in preparing the Festival and its efficient organisation, which took place in a pleasant atmosphere.

- Academia de Danzas Folklóricas Francisco De León from Penonomé, Coclé (Panama), for interesting portrayal of Panama’s dance culture, as well as traditional percussion instruments playing.
- Mali Magurzanie from Łodygowice (Poland), for showcasing aspects of the Whitsuntide customs, the boys’ games of skill, shepherds’ instruments and the girls’ lovely singing.
- Kopaničiarik from Myjava (Slovakia), for a very good dancing technique, including the boys’ individual performances, the girls’ beautiful singing and fine music.
- Argineti from Khulo, Adjara (Georgia), for an expressive and high-level dance technique characteristic of Georgian culture, as well as good music.
- Mały Hop Cup from Zakopane (Poland), for showcasing traditional children’s customs, interesting play and games, and bagpipe playing.
- Śfabelki from Trybsz (Poland), for the wealth of games and activities, the children’s spontaneous behaviour, good singing, dancing and music.
- Croatia from Zagreb (Croatia), for very good singing, dancing and traditional costumes.
- Mały Owcok from Jabłonka (Poland), for presenting Orava’s folklore, good singing and music, as well as varied costumes.
- Ballet Folklórico Xochipitzahuatl from Saltillo (Mexico), for technically advanced portrayal of Mexican dance culture, colourful costumes, and very good instrumental performances.
